Khav Tâm Editions is a Hong Kong-registered publishing house founded in 2025 to celebrate cross-cultural storytelling and emotional authenticity, rooted in its vision of sculpting with heart and craftsmanship.
Attached to this core, Khav Tâm Editions seeks to be a voice for those who carry more than one home within them — people whose lives unfold across borders, languages, and traditions. We illuminate memory while opening space for new narratives of resilience, belonging, and hope.

Imprint Philosophy
塑匠心人
“to sculpt with heart and craftsmanship”
Tâm
Tâm means heart, and it means soul — the two are not separate. The diacritic is restored deliberately. Without it the word flattens, and the breath that gives it meaning is lost in the crossing.
Khav Tâm
Spoken aloud, Khav Tâm sounds as craft soul. The name is the working method: nothing made quickly, nothing made without heart.
About the Founder
Khamsay Luangpraseuth
Khamsay Luangpraseuth is a narrative sculptor of the borderless generation—apolitical by stance, deeply human by instinct—whose work explores the emotional landscapes shared across humanity: grief, hope, resilience, longing, and love.
Educated in France and fluent in seven languages, he writes with polyphonic sensitivity, attuning each narrative to the resonance of ritual, silence, and emotional nuance. His creative practice draws inspiration from art, cinema, photography, music, and the diverse cultural traditions that have shaped his life across continents.
Having traveled widely, he listens to lives defined not by ideology but by everyday gestures and inherited truths. He is particularly drawn to stories that appear ordinary on the surface yet reveal extraordinary depth when examined with patience, empathy, and emotional connection.
The book he was carrying all along
His debut work, Snow Velvet, was written during a quiet season of caregiving in Hong Kong, paying tribute to the women whose hidden strength shaped entire lineages.
Through Khav Tâm Editions, Khamsay is committed to crafting books as vessels of lineage, identity, and emotional truth—stories that invite reflection, connection, and a deeper understanding of the invisible inheritances we all carry.
